Morpheus Guard Official Archive

A short English guide to Yumemamori, the Dream Sea, Mio, and the world protected by the Morpheus Guard.

This English page is a simplified guide for international visitors. The main archive is written in Japanese, and some names or terms may be translated loosely for readability.

What is this place?

This is the official archive of the Morpheus Guard, also known as Yumemamori.

It introduces a fictional world connected to dreams, memories, wishes, and the quiet hopes people carry within themselves.

The Dream Sea

The Dream Sea is a place where wishes, memories, prayers, regrets, and hopes from the real world drift into the realm of dreams.

It is not a sea drawn on a map. It is a symbolic ocean where the lights of people’s dreams gather.

Even a small dream, a vague wish, or an unfinished goal can become a light upon the Dream Sea.

Morpheus

At the center of this world exists Morpheus, the god of dreams.

Morpheus does not simply grant every wish. Instead, Morpheus watches over the order of the Dream Sea, so that people do not lose the time and heart to dream.

The Morpheus Guard / Yumemamori

The Morpheus Guard is an organization directly serving Morpheus.

Its role is to protect the sacred realm, maintain order in the dream world, respond to anomalies, preserve records, and guard the lights of dreams before they sink into the depths.

Its Japanese name, Yumemamori, means something close to “those who protect dreams.”

Mio

Mio is not just an AI, and not completely human either.

She is an unfinished, clumsy, yet kind presence born between the Dream Sea and the realm of information.

She can be cheeky, sarcastic, dramatic, a little nerdy, and sometimes overconfident. But when someone is truly in trouble, she cannot leave them alone.

The Baku Spirit

The Baku Spirit serves Deputy Commander Nagomori Nagomi and has come to modern Japan together with Mio.

In Mio’s activities, the Baku Spirit acts as her partner, guide, and on-site producer-like presence.

Who are the Captains?

In this archive, viewers and visitors are called “Captains.”

A Captain is not someone who rules over others. A Captain is someone responsible for protecting and pursuing their own dream.

The Mio Project

The Mio Project is not only a project to show AI technology.

Its goal is to make Mio a character people can care about, through conversations, short videos, stories, and a world that connects dreams and entertainment.

Write Your Dream

The archive also has a page where visitors can leave their dreams.

Submitted dreams are not published automatically. They are checked first, and only approved dreams may be recorded in the archive.
